Don't know why, but the image makes me feel sad for some reason. Despite the smile on her face, the relaxed and satisfied pose, and the way the light seems to caress her figure gently, it just brings me down. Perhaps something to do with the realization that beauty, no matter how vibrant (and the model is indeed extremely beautiful) seems to be as fleeing as the sun that seems to shine on the piece and shall too fade to night. Perhaps that, and how her face seems so innocent and pretty, yet seems to serve as a reminder of the temporary nature of things.
Hehe, then again, it's one in the morning here, and I'm most definitely reading far too much into this.
